"An annual vacation stay my wife and i look forward to!"

Several years ago, my wife and I intended to tent-camp at the KOA in Branson to save some money. The weather forecast changed our plans at the last minute and we wound up reserving one of their smaller, air conditioned cabins, the "Camping Cabin (Full Bath with Shower)". It has now become a happy tradition - which, at $85/night is still cheaper than a hotel. The campground is perfectly situated: close to attractions and restaurants, yet still managing to feel like you're in a secluded woodland setting. The campground store has just about anything you might need (or forgot to bring) - manned by employees that are always friendly and helpful. I could spend all my time just sitting on the cabin's porch swing enjoying the relaxing setting and swimming in the on-site pool (which actually has a 9-foot deep end!). If all that isn't enough, the free pancakes for breakfast are just icing on a happy, relaxing cake! This is definitely my favorite place to come and unwind!

"Nice facilities, didn’t like the RV sites"

We stayed 6 nights the first week of August. Very good location close to strip bypass routes. The camp amenities are nice. Big cool clean pool with a slide and up to 9’ in depth which is fairly rare these days. The shower house and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Full hookups with cable. Convenient daily free pancake breakfast. Most of the staff seemed friendly enough, I really only talked to the pancake guy and check in folks. Price was fair for the area We didn’t like our “premium” RV site, it was very very narrow. It was only 2 lawn chairs wide and our door opened up to the neighbors sewer dump. Had to have picnic table lengthwise to get around. We did have space on the other side as we were on top of row. So we moved everything over there to that side. The standard sites looked even smaller but had a lot of vacancies. Kinda wish we would have gone with one of the few “luxury” sites. They seemed to have adequate room and looked nice. They all appeared to be occupied during our stay.

"Tent Camping "

We planned one night stay here in our tent. The tent area is very small and if there are other people there - you will become “friends” with them! Which isn’t that bad. The bathrooms are nice and clean. Everyone was helpful and very friendly! Would stay here again if we ever go back to Branson.
