I usually stay at name brand hotels, so when my cousin and his wife made the reservation I just fell in line. Let me Say I was pleased beyond words at the accommodations plus the friendliness of all staff members. The checkin process was fast and efficient and the staff made us feel welcomed and could not have been more friendly. The rooms were spacious with two queen beds that slept great and the heat/AC unit was quiet and kept the temperature very comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding and included eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits that were delicious and piping hot. You could also have a choice of cereal, fresh made waffles, along with toast and or bagels. They had juices, milk, ice water and coffee, decaf too! Will definitely return here on my next trip! They have an indoor pool and hot tub so after a busy day you can relax before you drift off to sleep!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Barrington for our 2 year anniversary. It was reasonably priced and is very close to many of the attractions and shopping opportunities that Branson has to offer! We stayed in the Presidential Suite from January 5th-7th. When we check in Friday night, the woman at the front desk was SO friendly and helpful. She got us set up right away and gave us a little bit of information about the area. She made it clear what the hours were for each of the amenities, and gave us our keys. When we went into our room, it was so much bigger than I had expected! It was also extremely clean, and the person that cleaned our room even left some Bath and Body Works samples for us! The bathroom was huge- bigger than the one I have at home- and the king-sized bed was very comfortable (sometimes, hotels have those hard mattresses- not this one!). The Jacuzzi tub was listed as a 1-person size, but we fit in it perfectly well together, for anyone that's worried about that (I'm a bigger person, too!). It was a very lazy night, as we didn't get there until about 8:30pm and most things were closed. The TV offered a lot of channels, and the WiFi was good enough that we could watch Firefly on my computer. The balcony for our room was private- you could see over it, but it had a short wall as opposed to grating (like with most balconies). The following morning, we went down for breakfast. The woman that was watching the bar was extremely friendly, and we had a decent conversation after our meal. The food was good, though we did show up towards the end of breakfast, so it was starting to near room temperature. The waffles were delicious and fresh, though! We did have a few issues after breakfast, though. We went up for a nap, and someone came to our door and asked when we were checking out (that being set for the following morning; I believe that there may have been a mix-up in the rooms), and due to our own fault, the man that was cleaning our room came in when we didn't hear him knock (we were decent, so no harm done). When he realized we were still in, he apologized profusely! Both employees were very kind and respectful. That evening, we decided to take advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. Sadly, the hot tub was out of service, but the pool was nice and warm, and very large. We were swimming for quite a while, despite Mr. Grumpy being upset about the hot tub. Upon check-out, we were handled by another nice woman behind the counter. There were no issues, and she offered a bit of a warning about the quickly dropping temperatures and told us that they were salting the sidewalks and the parking lot in preparation (they wanted to get to it before everything froze over. I would fully recommend this hotel to couples looking for a quiet getaway, or even to families looking for a fun vacation. We plan to come back in the future, during show season.

The beginning of November my family, my parents, and my siblings family decided instead of a traditional Christmas we would take a trip, and we settled on Branson. We had 13 people total. We decided to visit the last week of December, and decided on the Barrington through priceline. We reserved 3 rooms. We reserved ours, and my parents reserved theirs and my siblings. We made the 6 hr drive and arrived at 2 and decided to see if we could check in early. The lady at the front was rude and said no 3pm was check in then someone in the back said well it will be closer to 4. No big deal i know its busy, and its not like we couldn't find anything to do. We went to town and came back around 4:15. My husband went in to check in , and that's when he was told we didn't have a reservation. He showed her the reservation number, and her reply was that they emailed priceline and cancelled the day after we reserved saying that room was unavailable. My husband then told her to just give us another room and her response was we don't have any we have OVERBOOKED! My husband then asked her if she could print something off showing all of this so we could call priceline. She responded very rudely and said yes but you will have to wait and quit being rude in front of the other customers. All he did was ask for something. As my husband went outside to call priceline my parents tried to check in and they said they didn't have their room either, but they had my siblings that mu parents made. Eventually they "found" my parents reservation, but it was under another name. We got a hold of priceline and the only message they had in their notes from the Barrington was that WE called the Barrington and cancelled, which is absolutely not true nor makes any sense. Priceline didn't cancel the reservation because we would have had to cancel through them. They (priceline) called the property and were also talked to very rudely. The lady that helped us on the phone found us another place to stay and they would pay the difference if it was more than what we were going to pay at the Barrington. So we didn't get to stay with our family at Christmas. What it boils down to is they overbooked, (which she said) and were lying. They picked who they would not give a room to and lied about it. Not good customer service!!

We made a 3 night trip to Branson. Booked the Barrington. Quiet location away from the heavy traffic but also not close to many dining establishment and none within walking distance. We booked a Queen room but were put in a room with two doubles. Breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast with eggs, biscuts and gray, waffles plus hot and cold cereal. Hot tub was nice. We would stay here again. No microwave in the room but were available elsewhere in the hotel. Parking is tight when busy.

Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. No microwave in the room, there is one on each floor next to the ice machine. The breakfast was okay. The hotel is off the beaten path so it is very quiet, but still close to everything.
