"Very friendly staff."
August, 2016
We had a nice room that was comfortable despite the heat wave. The housekeeping staff was great and they were very gracious.
Tip: It is a bit hard to find if you don't know where it is. You can easily drive by the street. The location is great. It is right between two traffic relief routes.

"Great place to be in Branson"
October, 2015
My wife and I chose Barrington because it was close to where we wanted to be, but we will chose it next time we go because it is a very nice and secluded spot to relax and enjoy. Staff is very friendly and helpful with all your needs and wants. Room was great, food was good and the company was awesome. Love you, Babe.
Tip: It maybe a little off the main drag of Branson, but I like that. Nice place to enjoy.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Barrington. It is off the beaten path and very quiet, yet close enough to everything we need. The staff is friendly, the accomadations a very nice and we have enjoyed our visit both time. We probably stay there our next trip.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast- eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh cinnamon rolls plus basic cereal and bagels. Hotel has a swimming pool and hot tub.
Tip: Thin walls kind of noisy 1st night, but overall good

"Great visit at Barrington Hotel & Suites"
February, 2015
The Barirngton is a very nice place to stay while in Branson. Everything was clean and well maintained and had a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Tip: Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that breakfast area seemed cramped. (occupied by busload of tourists)

We have stayed here before. It has always been clean and well-kept. The breakfast is ok but there is no fresh fruit. There was only one outlet to recharge devices & that was in the bathroom. The outlet on the lamp did not work. The outlet in the bathroom was old & the charger plug kind of just hung out of the outlet instead of having a firm fit. The staff is always nice. The pool was nice. The doors make a horrible noise when shutting, which is not good when a load of young people are running around at 12:30 in the am. I had to call the desk and complain about the doors banging and young people running and laughing in the halls in the wee hours of the night. The problem was resolved, except for the horrible sound the doors make.

The property itself is nice. Lobby is very pretty and homey and rooms were nice. Bedspreads seemed a little outdated but otherwise no complaint about the room. The trouble was all with the staff. We were gone all day the first full day we were there and when we returned at 10:00pm. Our room had not been cleaned. Full wastebaskets and wet towels still on the floor in the bathroom, beds unmade. We called the front desk and they gave us fresh towels but said staff had already gone home. The next day we were gone until 6:30pm. We returned and our room was not cleaned again. I went to the front desk and they sent the maid. She said she was told the room was "no service". Don't know where that came from. The first morning we were there they had a large group of teenagers there and they took over the breakfast room. They didn't really do anything wrong, just too many ppl in there at one time. We had to wait in line to get our breakfast and it was not a nice peaceful breakfast. The hotel should have accommodated them in a different room. The last morning I was there I walked in wearing some thick fuzzy socks. I had my plate partially full when one of the staff came up to me and told me I had to put shoes on, that it was a health law. She was not friendly about it. Haughty and unfriendly would be my best description. Too bad such a nice hotel has this kind of staffing problems. The undertone at the front desk led me to believe there was a lot of drama going on behind the scenes.

Had a great stay for two nights. Everyone very friendly, rooms clean, very good breakfast. Would come back. Only misstep was when I made the reservation on-line I said I was bringing two cats and later called the hotel to confirm I was bringing two cats the messages got lost. Luckily they were able to give us a room.

We booked this last minute, and very pleased with our stay. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Our son enjoyed the indoor pool and we enjoyed the hot tub. Hot tub needs the tile fixed, but other than that it was great after spending the day at Silver Dollar City. We will keep this hotel on our Branson list!

My husband and I recently stayed at Barrington Hotel and Suites for the second year year in a row. The first experience was great, which is why returned. Unfortunately this year's stay wasn't great, and what really ruined it for us was having our account charged twice. For convenience, we purchased Silver Dollar City tickets from the front desk of the hotel. A few days after we checked out my husband was going over our banking information, and discovered that our account was charged twice for the SDC tickets. He immediately contacted the hotel to alert them of the error, and was advised by the person who answered the phone that they would speak with their manager, and then my husband would get a returned call. Our money was refunded the following day, but no one ever called back to advise what occurred, or to apologize. It would have been a simple gesture, but would have had a big impact. To me, it's as if what happened wasn't a big deal. I even chalked up the lack of response to the fact that it was Thanksgiving week, but over a week later, still nothing. I don't know if it was a scam thinking we wouldn't notice, or what. Thankfully we had money in our account to cover the extra funds being removed, but it was still frustrating...especially during the week of one of the biggest shopping days of the year. There are a lot of hotels to choose from in Branson, so I would expect better customer service for a situation like this. One positive that I will note is that the woman who was working the front desk at night did a fabulous job, despite being the only one up front during a very, very busy evening. She remained calm, and was still smiling and very friendly to each guest. I likely will not be returning to this hotel, nor would I recommend it without reservation.
