"Great place to be in Branson"
Reviewed October, 2015
My wife and I chose Barrington because it was close to where we wanted to be, but we will chose it next time we go because it is a very nice and secluded spot to relax and enjoy. Staff is very friendly and helpful with all your needs and wants. Room was great, food was good and the company was awesome. Love you, Babe.
Tip: It maybe a little off the main drag of Branson, but I like that. Nice place to enjoy.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Barrington. It is off the beaten path and very quiet, yet close enough to everything we need. The staff is friendly, the accomadations a very nice and we have enjoyed our visit both time. We probably stay there our next trip.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast- eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh cinnamon rolls plus basic cereal and bagels. Hotel has a swimming pool and hot tub.
Tip: Thin walls kind of noisy 1st night, but overall good

"Great visit at Barrington Hotel & Suites"

The Barirngton is a very nice place to stay while in Branson. Everything was clean and well maintained and had a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Tip: Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that breakfast area seemed cramped. (occupied by busload of tourists)

"Nice, quiet location away from all of the traffic but close driving to anything"

Excellent hotel with the most friendly, helpful staff I have encountered in a long time. The breakfast bar was constantly replenished with fresh food and was kept very clean. The beds were very comfortable as well! Only suggestion would be for the pool to open before 9 am. It was raining when we were there and my kids would have loved to have been able to swim a little sooner.

This is our first time staying at the Barrington. We came for a Tuning Element Summit. Continental breakfast is good. Could have scrambled eggs every day or at least on Fridays, too. We use the whirlpool spa on Saturday night, very nice. But they need to put a clock in there. Didn't like the wall on the outside of our window. No sunlight. But otherwise, nice.

No electricity or phone to contact front desk from approx. 6:30am to 8am. With wet hair I proceeded to the front desk to ask how we might be compensated for the inconvenience. The hotel manager came out and immediately became aggressively defensive. Not what I would expect from a hospitality mgr. I was informed the electricity was out all over town. I worked in the service industry and know what is expected of mgmt. in a situation like this. A simple gift card, % discount, etc would be offered regardless if the problem was the hotels fault or not. After asking "Well what is it you want?!" The hotel mgr offered $10 off my total bill. She was quite rude. This was our 3 or 4 stay at this hotel and I won't be going back.

"Better than I expected!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed March 30, 2016 NEW

We were put up here with a timeshare package so I was a little leary but it was better than I expected. Our room wasn't dirty as I had read in other reviews & our bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice but had very little cabinet space which made it a little difficult getting ready. My main issue with this hotel is that my camera battery disappeared from here. I took pics right when we got to the room & never used my camera again. When I got home I discovered it was gone & my camera has a double lock system so it can't come out by itself. I called the manager to report it but it was never found. I've since found out that lithium batteries are used for meth. If you're going to stay here, take your valuables with you or lock them up if there's a safe.

I felt I had to stay because someone had arranged for and covered the cost of the room. It wasn't very clean. Bathroom needed a good scrubbing, the tub had a film and there was hair in the sink where somebody had shaved. Everything smelled like smoke, but especially the bathroom. Housekeeping had tried to hide it with an over abundance of floral airspray. I asked the desk to have housekeeping come back at 6 am but it was closer to 4:00 by the time the room was cleaned again. The tub was still not great but the smoke smell was gone. Before you think I am a clean freak, the same dust bunny was behind the door and a red coffee stirrer under the dresser was in the same spot that were there when I checked in wheBefore you think I am a clean freak, the same dust bunny was behind the door and a red coffee stirrer under the dresser were in the same spots 3 days later when I left as when I checked in even though the head of housekeeping approved the room after my first request for cleaning.
