Description

from Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf
Putt Your Way to Fame! Experience the famous landmarks of Hollywood as you take the 18 steps to becoming a star. From Being Discovered to earning your very own star on Hollywood Boulevard, your wisecracking agent, Marty McBooster, guides your journey past Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Capitol Records, the Hollywood Bowl, and more, with hilarious words of advice at each hole.

You’ll putt through palm trees and parties, as your hairdresser charges $600 for a coif and your limo driver carries your bags on Rodeo Drive. Of course, on your journey to stardom, not every step is a "hole in one". As tabloid headlines threaten and charity brunches loom, Marty talks you through auditions, talk shows, awards ceremonies, and more. Tons of exciting photo opportunities along the way.

Enjoy a final tally of your Star Status at the Star-O-Meter, determined by your last putt. Modeled after Hollywood’s art deco Crossroads of the World with its famous spire, the Star-O-Meter lights up higher and higher on the spire to show your ranking, from one star (Overexposed) to four stars (Legendary). Twenty-four shooting stars, 8,000 animated LEDs and coordinated sound effects are used to create the spectacular finish.

Fun for all ages is par for the course!

"Lots of fun"

We had a group of about 20, so we asked for and received a group rate. Lots of places for photo ops. There are buttons at the start of each hole with some fun facts, and a couple of these were broken. We played at night, and a few places were hard to see the hole, could use some more lights. But our group of all ages had a great time

The course isn't hard but it's not overly easy either. We had fun teaching our daughter to play and the people playing around us were very patient with us.

"Get the Package"

We hit this place early in the morning, before most places were open. I’d suggest getting the package deal and seeing the Wax Museum first, then the 5D theater, and the mini golf last. The golf was a fun distraction with a voice intro to each hole. Enjoyable without too many difficult obstacles. My only suggestion would be to mount a platform on top of the speakers to hold score cards, keep score, etc. Kept dropping pencils, score cards, etc. by having to switch from pockets to find flat surface to write on

It was a fun putt putt coarse and it is open till midnight. But you come out ahead if you get the package deal and do the museum, 5D movie, mirror maze and the putt putt course. A good way to spend a few hours if you do all 4.

This is a cute mini- golf course. There are some easy holes and some difficult ones. It is clean and the staff are very friendly! There are extra little things around the course to keep the attention of little ones as they wait for their turns!
