Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium
Considered the most unusual building in Branson, the 12,000 sq. foot Ripley's Odditorium is everything it's cracked up to be! Having recently gone through an extensive renovation, we have crammed as much fun into one building as is possible. There are over 400 "unbelievable" artifacts, jaw dropping oddities, world records, amazing illusions, pranks of nature, cool inter-actives and awesome works of art.

Just a few of the newest additions include a full size stagecoach made from 1.5 million toothpicks and a pair of horses made from welded horseshoes. Also, there are African fantasy coffins, a picture of Jesus on the cross made from burnt toast, a laser shooting gallery and you can't miss the wacky "spinning vortex" tunnel. With all that and more, it's sensational FUN for the entire family!

Great fun for family of all ages. Self paced and has plenty of things to see. Second time we have been. Lots to see!
Tip: There is a "Move Monsters" section that young kids might not need to go through, but they have a bypass.

Ripley is fun for all ages. Self paced tour that allows you to see all. Even though we took our time, we all realized we missed different things. The pictures allowed us to see them.

We thought that this would be a way to spend an hour before going to Silver Dollar City. We spent at least 3. Everyone (ranging in ages from 7 to 76) really enjoyed Ripley's and we have some great photographs for the kids' photo albums.

We were planning on going there in the evening, but they had just changed from summer hours, and the old hours were still posted. Otherwise was a great experience. I would visit again.

There were some interesting things inside, but for the most part it seemed more like an artifact museum than anything. Best part was the candy shop they had

"Not the best Ripley's... "
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

This is probably the third or fourth Ripley's Museum I have been to in my life. All of them have something a little different to offer, but all of them have some similar rooms and exhibits. This Ripley's is no different. Here you can seen exhibits with a blend of art, artifact, nature, illusion, and humor. The tour probably takes from 45 to 90 minutes, depending how much you like to read the material and interact with each exhibit. This particular Ripley's is probably one of the weaker I have been to. A lot of the exhibits are ones that I have seen at least once before at other museums. Also, the whole tour seemed to be shorter. I remember my girlfriend and I spend a few hours going through the Ripley's in Orlando. It just had much more to offer. If you have never been to a Ripley's Museum before, this might be worth a stop. However, if you have been to others, this is probably nothing new that you would be missing out on.
