Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium
Considered the most unusual building in Branson, the 12,000 sq. foot Ripley's Odditorium is everything it's cracked up to be! Having recently gone through an extensive renovation, we have crammed as much fun into one building as is possible. There are over 400 "unbelievable" artifacts, jaw dropping oddities, world records, amazing illusions, pranks of nature, cool inter-actives and awesome works of art.

Just a few of the newest additions include a full size stagecoach made from 1.5 million toothpicks and a pair of horses made from welded horseshoes. Also, there are African fantasy coffins, a picture of Jesus on the cross made from burnt toast, a laser shooting gallery and you can't miss the wacky "spinning vortex" tunnel. With all that and more, it's sensational FUN for the entire family!

"Great family event, well worth the price"
August, 2016
We did this activity on a day where we had sat around the cabin most of the day due to rain and needed to get out and expend some energy. I have four kids (18, 16,13, 10) and all were interested and had a good time. I like the self paced exploration and the fact that you can spend as long as you want here with no one rushing you through. The website says about an hour and a half, but we took longer because there was so much to do and look at.
Tip: Be leery of any mirrors... lol

"Awesome place to visit!"

The museum is very kid friendly and has some fun for adults as well. The fire alarm was pulled by a child and we couldn't find our 3 year old since everyone was heading for the exits and the staff was right on top of it and had him found and brought to us in less than 5 minutes.
Tip: stroller friendly

Great fun for family of all ages. Self paced and has plenty of things to see. Second time we have been. Lots to see!
Tip: There is a "Move Monsters" section that young kids might not need to go through, but they have a bypass.

Ripley is fun for all ages. Self paced tour that allows you to see all. Even though we took our time, we all realized we missed different things. The pictures allowed us to see them.

Kids had a great time! There was tons of stuff to look at. They also have military and first responders discount which was a huge blessing since we are a family of 7.

This was my second visit and it was even better than the first! The exhibits change, so even if you have been, go again! This is a very hands on museum of oddities. You learn, you are amazed, and you will have a blast. The time that has been invested on these items is mind blowing. The physical oddities are amazing. It was worth the time it took to tour!

First I would like to thank Ripley's for honoring our nations veterans. Our visit was with for our grand children but the experience is just as amazing for the elderly as for the young. We spent over an hour wandering through looking at exhibits from giant transformers to aircraft carriers made from matchsticks. Multiple levels with room after room of artifacts and displays. Even a huge pipe collection in the men's room. Pictures are allowed and elevators for the handicapped.

My husband and I brought along our 2 teenage boys and 12 y/o son to see what all the fuss was about. Ripley's is cram packed with interesting artifacts, hands-on activities, and oddities. We all enjoyed it more than we thought we would. It is pricey- not something I would normally pay for such a place- but you can save a few dollars by buying your tickets online. If you can't print them out, you can present them from your smart phone.
