Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium
Considered the most unusual building in Branson, the 12,000 sq. foot Ripley's Odditorium is everything it's cracked up to be! Having recently gone through an extensive renovation, we have crammed as much fun into one building as is possible. There are over 400 "unbelievable" artifacts, jaw dropping oddities, world records, amazing illusions, pranks of nature, cool inter-actives and awesome works of art.

Just a few of the newest additions include a full size stagecoach made from 1.5 million toothpicks and a pair of horses made from welded horseshoes. Also, there are African fantasy coffins, a picture of Jesus on the cross made from burnt toast, a laser shooting gallery and you can't miss the wacky "spinning vortex" tunnel. With all that and more, it's sensational FUN for the entire family!

"Great family event, well worth the price"
August, 2016 NEW
We did this activity on a day where we had sat around the cabin most of the day due to rain and needed to get out and expend some energy. I have four kids (18, 16,13, 10) and all were interested and had a good time. I like the self paced exploration and the fact that you can spend as long as you want here with no one rushing you through. The website says about an hour and a half, but we took longer because there was so much to do and look at.
Tip: Be leery of any mirrors... lol

"Awesome place to visit!"

The museum is very kid friendly and has some fun for adults as well. The fire alarm was pulled by a child and we couldn't find our 3 year old since everyone was heading for the exits and the staff was right on top of it and had him found and brought to us in less than 5 minutes.
Tip: stroller friendly

Great fun for family of all ages. Self paced and has plenty of things to see. Second time we have been. Lots to see!
Tip: There is a "Move Monsters" section that young kids might not need to go through, but they have a bypass.

Ripley is fun for all ages. Self paced tour that allows you to see all. Even though we took our time, we all realized we missed different things. The pictures allowed us to see them.

We thought that this would be a way to spend an hour before going to Silver Dollar City. We spent at least 3. Everyone (ranging in ages from 7 to 76) really enjoyed Ripley's and we have some great photographs for the kids' photo albums.

We were planning on going there in the evening, but they had just changed from summer hours, and the old hours were still posted. Otherwise was a great experience. I would visit again.

There were some interesting things inside, but for the most part it seemed more like an artifact museum than anything. Best part was the candy shop they had

Way over priced. Few interesting exhibits but nothing that my kids really enjoyed. For the money it cost to get in I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

This is a neat place to visit, especially on a really hot or rainy day. We spent about an hour looking through everything. I read the bad reviews and all I can say is that the person who complained about it only taking 20 minutes did not look at everything and the person who thought it was too much reading has not been to many museums, which this technically is. We had a great time here and recommend it to anyone who enjoys weird and unusual stuff.

We went here for something to do on a rainy day. We have 2 kids, 7 and 3 and they had so much fun. From the giant roll of toilet paper to the wall sized lite brite in the theater (which my 3 year old really enjoyed playing with.) to the spinning tunnel that goes to the gift shop (which my 3 year old hated. She got scared and dizzy and refused to go any further until my husband and i both were holding her hands to help her out of there). It made for a fun and interesting couple of hours with the family.

We took tons of pictures in this place, and it entertained all from 9 years old to 70. It was cool to read about all of the "oddities" in this place. Some interactive activities sprinkled in, kept the fun going.
