Self paced tour. Was crowded but that was due to it raining and everyone looking for some where to go inside. Love that you can take pictures with the statues. Some props are included.

"Was Museum did not disapoint"
Reviewed October, 2015
Its been about 4 years since I was last at the Museum. I enjoyed it then, so I decided to take my family. And they were impressed with the life like wax figures. They took pictures with almost all of them in the museum.
Tip: If you buy your tickets from branson reserve, you have to print your tickets and bring with you. Make sure to bring a camera with lots of empty space. You'll need it to take a lot of pictures.

"Great attraction!"
Reviewed July, 2015
We are 2 women in out late 50's on a trip to Branson. We enjoyed the Hollywood Wax Museum. A lot of the figures looked real and it was really neat to be able to stand next to or sit next to the statues. It was real nice to go at your own pace and many many statues to see. It brought back many of memories of old movie stars especially John Wayne. I do scrapbooking and took so many pictures, it is nice to see all the stars in my scrapbook.
Tip: You can go at your own pace and I would think younger kids might get bored as there are so many older stars they would not recognize.

"Mingle with the stars!"

My husband and I were entertained, but our 6 year-old was not as interested due to not knowing who most of the "people" were. Taking silly photos helped amp up the fun.
Tip: When posing with Hugh Hefner, don't forget your purse under the bed. I did!

"Good once."

Wasn't really enough exhibits to be worth the cost of tickets, but neat to see once anyway.
Tip: Plan extra activities because this one is pretty short.

"Be a Star!"

If you’ve never met a photo op you didn’t like, then visiting the Hollywood Wax Museum is for you. I consider myself quite the ham, so being able to take up-close photos with the various wax figures in the museum was a lot of fun. Want to pose like a playboy with Hugh Hefner? Or maybe take a bite from Forrest Gump’s box of chocolate? Or sail away with Jack from the Titanic movie? You can do all that and more at the Hollywood Wax Museum Branson.

Kids enjoy touring the museum, too, as they can act out scenes from their favorite movies. Just be sure to skip the Hall of Horrors exhibit as it’s frightening to even this full-grown adult.

Even though I had a lot of fun at the museum, goofing off and taking photos, the museum could stand to be a bit bigger and newer wax figures wouldn't hurt either.
Tip: Be sure to bring a camera to capture all your poses with these wax celebrities!

"Some attractions better than others"

We bought the all access pass that included the Wax Museum, House of Chaos, Mirror Maze, and Mini Golf. We did not like the Mirror Maze because we completed it in about 3 and a half minutes without even trying. The House of Chaos has decent special effects, but the gun the give you to shoot the ghosts doesn't even really keep score, so what's the point? Many of the wax figures do not look very close to what the actual celebrity looks like, but they do try. The gift shop in the Wax Museum has some interesting things in it. The last part was the mini golf, which if you enjoy mini golf it is on par with just about any other mini golf in the area.

"Very cool"

I loved the individual sets that were created. A lot of time and attention went into creating the overall atmosphere. Some of the wax figures were of amazing likeness to the celebrity they represent and others...not so much. Having gone to Madame Tussaud's in Vegas I would have to say I liked this one much better in large part to the "sets". Like another review I read, the only downfall is the person there in the middle selling their resort. Can you not catch a break from getting hounded into a time share? Other than that, this was awesome!

Very Nice place to visit we had so much fun! Good food and sights to see musicals and the wax Museum and much more. The wax Museum was pretty cool to see and they did a good job on the likeness of the famous people. Would come back again to see more.

"Amazing but..."

The employees are awesome, the attractions are awesome. The only downfall is that there is a person from one of the resorts in there doing the whole "listen to our presentation and get a free something" deal and my husband and i were seriously considering it until the times he had conflicted with other stuff on our trip so we said we were sorry but we had to decline and then he got REALLY rude. He kept trying to throw in other offers to change our minds and he was just extremely rude about it. He also made a BIG deal about ripping up the form we had halfway filled out, but his schedule clashed with ours and he didn't seem to understand that, but other than running into him, we had a FANTASTIC time. We bought the all in one tickets, and they were worth it.
