Had a great time with our tour guide, Darrin. We always like to find out about the area history and must see sites when we visit other places and he covered everything.

"Excellent Tour Guides. The Lights? Not So Much"

I have a mixed review for this tour. I want to point out that the tour guides were EXCELLENT. Funny, interactive, knowledgeable, and entertaining! The bus was comfortable enough but the views from the left side 3rd row of the bus were TERRIBLE. Don't sit there! The Branson hotel tour was nice. Cupcake was good. Hot chocolate was SO HOT that we had to let it cool for awhile before it was suitable for drinking. So, we opted for moscato/water and a hotel tour in the meantime. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. But when we got back to our table to enjoy our hot chocolate, the server took them away without asking! Not nice, server guy! He gave me some more in a cup to take with me, though. Learning the town's history was great. The Shepard of the Hills lights tour was TERRIBLE. Displays were so old and dimly lit that I might as well have stayed home. No "wow factor" AT ALL. The second lights display (can't remember the name) was slightly better. The only "wow factor" came at the end, though. But no dice. I wouldn't do this tour again unless they offered MUCH better holiday lights shows.

For a hassle free, enjoyable tour I highly recommend! We did the Christmas lights tour one evening and turned around and did the Branson tour the next morning. We had Joe as our driver/guide and you can tell he cares about the customer experience. The tours were a nice length which mixed well with time exploring on our own.

A big thank you to VIP Tours of Branson, and specifically to Joe. My sister and I took the Taste of Branson tour. Joe provided us with a fabulous experience . The schedule included a visit to 3 local wine tastings and a 3-course meal to finish the evening. VIP Tours chooses local establishments with good reputations and where we ate dinner was no exception. What a fun and informative evening. Joe went out of his way to make our tour memorable. We even got an extra bonus of seeing some of Branson’s beautiful Christmas lights. Joe is friendly, yet professional, and went above and beyond the tours itinerary. VIP Tours appears to be very customer oriented and wants their guests to be satisfied with choosing VIP Tours.
