"Outstanding mini-museum!"

I try to stop by the Veterans Memorial Museum every time I visit Branson. As a Veteran, I am always amazed at the quality of the displays here, ranging from WW I through combat in the Middle East. My Father was a WW II, Korean, and Vietnam Vet and I know he enjoyed the museum the one time he visited it while alive. A very worthwhile visit, reasonable prices, and personable staff.

This museum goes from WW1 all the way to Desert Storm and has very large exhibits of uniforms, medals and weapons. Being a Vietnam Vet, I was interested in seeing so much VC and NVA items on display. This museum is much more than you see from the street and is quite large. They offer vet discounts so be sure to wear a vet hat or tell them you are a vet for a discount.

My husband is a veteran and had always wanted to stop here. When we did stop, he got caught up in the types of planes, guns, etc that the military has used over the years. I enjoyed walking around and seeing the different displays, but he knew what everything was and how it had played a part in U.S. history.
