My husband is a Vietnam War veteran and our dads and uncles served in WW11 so we try to visit veteran museums whenever we can. This is one of the best veterans memorial museums we have been too. "The museum features more than 2000 exhibits commemorating the American soldier in WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf and more recent conflicts." There are artifacts, uniforms, supplies, and the walls of names of lost soldiers. My husband found the names of his buddies who died in Vietnam. I found a cousin once removed who died in WW2. What I found most touching were the personal stories written by family members or the veterans themselves. There is also a gift shop. The museum is open 7 days a week 9 to 5. It is certainly worth a visit!!

There is more WWI and WWII memorabilia than later wars. One big room has the names of all those that were lost in WWII. I found my great uncle's name listed there. So many lives lost. There are also name boards for the other wars also, though not as extensive as WWII. Well worth a visit.

This was my second trip here. First time was about 12 yrs ago and I can't say much has changed. Figured they would have more things from the current conflicts but those were pretty sparse. They have a great WWI and WWII section and you can spend most of your time there. They have an area where they have everyone's name who died in WWII printed on the walls of a room and it is very awe inspiring. They also have the same for other wars but the amount of men and women lost in WWII is just unbelievable when seen like that. Just gives you the chills to stand in that room and look around. I did think it was a little pricey to get in. It was $17 adult and $14 for veterans. I understand that there is a lot of upkeep and overhead so guess I should not complain as it is a nice museum and they are disappearing fast. It's well worth a few hours of your time.
