Tip: The Ferris wheel does not stop for loading/unloading. My young daughter was scared of that but with a little encouragement she did just fine.

"Best at night!"

Fun attraction with a great view! It turns really slow and you can go around once or twice for the same price. Open air baskets that are caged in for safety.

"Ask the Ferris Wheel to stop when boarding!"
May, 2018
My elderly mother almost got seriously hurt because the staff did not stop the Ferris Wheel for her to board; even though we asked several times. I heard back from the HR director and it is there policy to stop the ride when people need additional time boarding and she was going to retrain the staff. If you have small children or elderly family members ask the staff to stop the ride to ensure no one gets hurt while boarding.

"Smooth, Slow Ride - Great Views "

I hadn’t been on a Ferris wheel since I was a child so I knew I wanted to do this. My kids were all too afraid to ride except my 10yo son. The ride is completely enclosed, plexiglass surround, so the cage seems very safe and nearly impossible to fall out of. The ride is 150’ high at the very peak so it’s a great view of the city. It was very clean, the staff was helpful, they do a nice photo op with magnet for purchase, and we were allowed to ride twice. I did think it was expensive ($10 ea) but it was worth the cost for something as rare as a Ferris wheel ride. Enjoy!

You get to see a great view here. I had a great time, but it was not anything special. We got to ride it 2 times which I guess is the usual.

"A nice relaxing ride to see the view!"

This ferris wheel used to be on Navy Pier in Chicago. The cost is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors. The ferris wheel never stops. You board as it maintains a steady very slow rotation. The illumination on the wheel is amazing as are the views from the top of the ferris wheel. You ride includes one time around, but if they are not busy, you can ask them for an additional time around.

"Beautiful at Night, no Single Riders"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed August 13, 2018 NEW
Though this is an absolutely beautiful sight after dark I am giving it 2 stars because when I went to ride it the ticket seller told me "no single riders". I asked why and was told that it had to do with "weight distribution". Huh? I weigh under 130 lbs. The lady in front of me was sold tickets and she was well over 200 pounds and her child probably 35 lbs. or less. I tried to tell the clerk that there was less weight difference between me and nothing, than that lady and her child. Still no go. She said she had to follow that rules. I'd like to hear their management's comments on this.
