"A Must do!"
July, 2018
It has 2 tracks for 1 price! You can go as fast or slow as you want, and it'sreally smooth, no neck jerking or spine jarring ride! 1 or 2 riders. Will definitely do again on next visit.

"Short but fun."
May, 2018
Everyone in our family, including kids aged 6-14, had a great time on the coaster. Even those of us that are not fond of coasters enjoyed this since we could control the speed. I wish the pictures taken during the ride weren't so pricey ($10 each adds up for a big family), but people can take their own pictures when you are leaving the beginning of the ride. The person selling tickets wasn't sure how to use our Reserve Branson voucher, but he figured it out after consulting with others. My only real complaint is that the ride is short, maybe a few minutes. The ride should be longer or the price should be more affordable, in my opinion. Rerides are cheaper, about $8 per person, and can be purchased the entire day after the initial ride.

The weather was quite chilly the day we arrived to ride the Coaster. However, after you board the Coaster car and your adrenaline starts pumping, the weather is the last thing on your mind. It is a GREAT ride with a lot of turns. Since you control the brakes, you can go as fast or as slow as you want. But don't go slow - brakes are for wimps! :) The only negative (but worth it), is due to the speed and quick direction changes, your shoulder blades may not like you the next day. Both my mother and I were very sore, but again worth every minute of it.

Tip: Can be chilly; take a light jacket just in case. Leave everything in the car; don't risk losing items like sunglasses, hats, CELL PHONE.

"Very smooth!"
March, 2018
The Branson Coaster is incredibly smooth and suitable for children and persons who may not care much for typical roller coasters as you are in control of when you stop and go. The "sleds" are comfortable and safe without any jarring or shaking. I just wish the basic ticket price allowed you to go twice because it's a ride I would want to do again and again.

"Coasting on the main drag!"

This alpine coaster is conveniently located on Branson's main drag. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the coaster has two sections. It was a fun ride down. The whole family enjoyed the experience. If you go when the weather is cold, make sure that you bring gloves.

"Lots of fun for all"

Lots of fun for all – This is a non-electric coaster! You sit on your own coaster sled that you will control the speed of as you ride the tracks downhill. You can sit with 1 or 2 to a cart. There are no upside down, loop-de-loops but you will corkscrew and twist and turn back and forth across the mountain. When you get to the bottom, you get to go back up and snake back and forth again. It can get busy so you might want to get the all-day ride pass. You can come back when you want to. If you want to do it again, it is super cheap for the second ride but the first one is pricey.

This was a fun ride. I ranked it 4 starts because it comes a clear second to the other Mountain Roller Coaster in Branson. This one is a bit more expensive, unless you are lucky enough to find a good Groupon deal. You start at the top and control the speed of the cart down the hill. At the end of the first run, your cart is taken uphill for a second, different run down the hill. If you have spare change, it would be good to ride this Coaster in addition to The Runaway Mountain Coaster. If money or time is tight, I would head for the other Coaster. It is definitely fun and exciting, but a clear second place.

"If you ride once, you will want to ride twice, only faster!!"

I rode this 2 segment alpine coaster on Sunday, December 30th. It was 32 degrees and COLD!! At first I was nervous, because I thought it would be too fast for me to handle. I went with the plan of using the breaks often on the first ride, because I wanted to see if I could control the speed as slow as needed as the other reviews spoke of. The brakes will slow the ride down to whatever speed you are comfortable with, but take it from a guy who decided to brake often on the first run: you will want to ride again without brakes!! The first ride was so much fun that I had to re-ride at a discounted price, and the 2nd time I felt comfortable enough to ride without much braking at all. Lots of turns in both segments. You also get your photo taken just before a left bending turn, so make sure to put forth your best smile to the camera above! The next time I go back I'm doing this for an hour at least!
