Reviews

direct insightsReviewed by the ReserveDirect Travel Experts
Reviewed by Ashley of ReserveDirect.comOur tour of the Titanic Museum Branson was very interesting and informative. Before the tour began, we purchased audio for the tour for an additional $5. The audio accessory is very informative and well worth the money if you can spend extra time in the museum like we did. If you are visiting as a family with younger children, the audio most likely will not be needed as there is plenty to view and read without it. As we entered the museum we received a boarding pass complete with passenger information. The fate of our passenger was revealed at the end of the tour, on the Memorial Wall. My companion and I were both crew members, and we both survived.

My favorite activities included the Test Your Knowledge wheels located at the different exhibits and testing how long I could handle the 28 degree water temperature the Titanic passengers faced that fateful night. I could only keep one finger in the water for a minute and a half! The various replicas, like the Grand Staircase and third class and first class cabins, made me feel like an actual passenger on the Titanic. It was very realistic.

Notables:
Crowds can be large at times, so be sure to allot at least an hour and a half for tour time. We stayed for an hour and still didn’t see it all! Cameras and video cameras are not allowed in the Branson Titanic museum so be sure to leave those in the car.
